Community and survivor- centered

Strong understanding of anti-oppression, human rights and social justice

“Too many times survivors of violence feel alone, less than, or incomplete. Our new name and logo are representations of this. We understand that healing is not linear. We recognize, respect and honour the bravery of all survivors and stand alongside them. We want to create a space where survivors can bring their whole selves – no matter what.We inspire bravery. We embrace it. We are Embrave.”

Sharon Floyd, Chief Executive Officer

“We work towards eradicating all forms of racism and oppression by identifying, challenging and removing barriers that exist in obtaining or accessing our programs and services. Our name and identity embodies who we are, our values and what we do. We are brave, bold, fierce, confident and unafraid to face challenges head-on. Embrave is relentless in leading change. We amplify the voices of survivors. Embrave is here for you. All of you.”
