Business Manager (1-Year Contract)

We require candidates to fulfill the position of a 1-Year Contract who will manage, and ensure that the agency’s financial, human resource, technology and administrative systems are efficient, effective and legally sound, so as to increase the capacity of Embrave to meet its strategic goals. You will also be responsible for ensuring that facilities are appropriately maintained. Additionally, as the Business Manager you will be a member of Embrave’s management team.

Development Manager (1-Year Contract)

We require candidates to fulfill the position of a 1-Year Contract who will manage, develop and grow the fundraising program with innovative ideas and creative additions. You will work as a member of the leadership team to raise awareness of Embrave’s efforts to support survivors of gender-based violence and work to maximize opportunities for fundraising and deepen donor engagement and investment in our cause.

Marketing Assistant (Contract)

We require candidates to fulfill the position of an 8 Week Contract who will provide support for activities that achieve development and marketing goals, with responsibility for the social media portfolio and event support. This position will also provide support to direct mail, donor recognition, and graphic design.

Public Education and Community Collaboration Coordinator

We seek 1 full-time Public Education and Community Collaboration Coordinator. We are looking for a creative leader with a strong background in gender- based violence work. They will have an interest in developing staff teams using innovate strategies and engaging the community to eliminating gender-based violence in Peel Region. This position functions as a member of the Embrave Leadership Team and plays an important role within the organization as well as plays a key role as the contact for the Violence Against Women Community Coordinating Committee (VAW3c’s) and it’s member organizations advocating for a coordinated and effective response to violence against women in Peel region. Key areas of responsibility will be: Leadership, Project evaluation, Administration, Community Development, Collaboration, Coordination, Education and Advocacy.
