Residents Counsellors/Advocates, Overnight Residents Counsellors/Advocates and Community Support & Outreach Counsellors/Advocates

We are looking for a 1-Year Full Time Overnight Resident Counsellor Advocate and 1 Full-Time Permanent Resident Counsellor Advocate to join Embrave’s team and provide supports based on shelter residents’ needs and can include risk assessment, safety planning, counselling and emotional support, information & referrals to services and resources, accompaniments, and advocacy.

Indigenous and Decolonization Consultation for BraveSpaces Public Education Program

We offer a permanent position for Shelter Program Supervisor.  We are looking for a creative leader with a strong background in gender-based violence work and with an interest in supporting our Mission, Vision, and Values. The successful candidate will work in developing staff teams using innovate strategies and engaging staff to ensure service excellence.

Business Manager – Full-Time Permanent

We seek to fulfill the Business Manager 1-Year Contract full-time position. The Business Manager will manage, and ensure that the agency’s financial, business, and administrative systems are efficient, effective, and legally sound, so as to increase the capacity of Embrave to meet its strategic goals.

2 Full-Time Permanent Residential Food and Nutrition Worker

The Residential Food and Nutrition Worker will support residents and their children through meal preparation, food and supplies coordination, cleaning and organizing the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas, and maintaining the safety of the shelter premises.
