1-Year Contract Full-Time Overnight Residents Counsellor/Advocate (North/South Locations)

Our Counsellors team is looking for an Overnight Residents Counsellor/Advocate to join our team in supporting survivors living in the shelter. Supports provided are based on client needs and can include risk assessment, safety planning, counselling and emotional support, legal support, housing support, information & referrals, accompaniments, and advocacy.

Development Manager (1-Year Contract)

We require candidates to fulfill the position of a 1-Year Contract who will manage, develop and grow the fundraising program with innovative ideas and creative additions. You will work as a member of the leadership team to raise awareness of Embrave’s efforts to support survivors of gender-based violence and work to maximize opportunities for fundraising and deepen donor engagement and investment in our cause.

Residential Food and Nutrition Worker (North/ South Locations)

Do you have a passion for supporting people and cooking healthy and substantial meals? Are you good at working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities? We want to hear from you! We are looking for a Residential Food and Nutrition Worker to support residents and their children through food preparation, food, and supply coordination, clean and organize kitchen, pantry, and storage areas, and maintain Health and Safety of the shelter premises.
