Child & Youth Counsellor/Advocate Position

The Counsellors/Advocates will join the in supporting survivors and their children living in the shelter. Supports provided are based on client needs and can include risk assessment, safety planning, counselling and emotional support, legal support, housing support, information & referrals, accompaniments, and advocacy

Development Manager (1-Year Contract)

We require candidates to fulfill the position of a 1-Year Contract who will manage, develop and grow the fundraising program with innovative ideas and creative additions. You will work as a member of the leadership team to raise awareness of Embrave’s efforts to support survivors of gender-based violence and work to maximize opportunities for fundraising and deepen donor engagement and investment in our cause.

Manager of Programs and Services

We seek 1 full-time Manager of Programs and Services. The Manager of Programs and Services is responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of the agency shelters, programs, and services. The Manager of Programs and Services works in collaboration with the Director of Programs and Services to establish program policies and procedures and is a member of the management team.

1-Year Contract Full-Time Overnight Residents Counsellor/Advocate & 1 Full-Time Permanent Rotational Counsellor-Advocate – Designated Position for Someone Who Identifies as an Indigenous Person

We are looking for 2 Counsellor to join our Resident Counsellor/Advocate (RCA) team and provide supports based on clients’ needs including risk assessment, safety planning, counselling, and emotional support, legal and housing supports, information & referrals, accompaniments, and advocacy.

Legal Counsellor/Advocate

The Counsellors/Advocates will provide supports for clients and their children such as risk assessment, counselling and emotional support, outreach support, legal support, housing support, information & referral, accompaniments, etc.
